This 3-hour module will explore how the words we use affect individuals in recovery. This session will focus on how to utilize our words to create greater inclusivity and apply strategies to destigmatize individuals with Substance Use and Mental Health challenges/disorders.  Research on common terminology will be discussed and commonly held beliefs and myths will be debunked.  Participants will learn strategies to eliminate stigmatizing language through storytelling.
